In a recent shift in Williams F1 team line-up, Logan Sargeant has been replaced by Franco Colapinto for the remainder of the 2024 season. Alex Albon, who has experienced similar driver changes himself, sent a message to his former teammate, Sargeant, saying, "You gave it your all brother and it's been a pleasure being teammates with you. I know whatever you do next, you'll be awesome." Sargeant was set to depart the Grove outfit at the end of the year once it was confirmed that Ferrari driver Carlos Sainz had secured a contract with the team from 2025. However, a particularly tough run of races resulted in Team Principal James Vowles electing to change their line-up mid-season. While Albon has secured two ninth-place finishes in 2024 so far, scoring all of Williams' four points, the 23-year-old American was one of three drivers on the grid yet to score a point alongside the Sauber duo of Valtteri Bottas and Zhou Guanyu.
