August's Top Breakout Performances In Our Monthly Report

In this month's top breakout performances, let's highlight two exciting fighters: Khalil Rountree Jr. and Bruno Silva Pereira. Rountree has had an impressive record in his last five fights, finishing four opponents and earning three Performance of the Night bonuses. Meanwhile, Pereira has scored six knockout victories since his debut in 2021, with four of them coming in title fights.

Rountree's statement on fighting Pereira:
"Anyone who has seen him fight, anyone who has seen me fight, just use your imagination. You're getting two amazing, dynamic, explosive strikers in the cage fighting for a belt, five rounds at altitude. What else could you ask for? I admire his career; I admire what he's done. It's actually been a lot of my motivation being in the division, and a lot of my motivation to climb to the top is because I see the impact that this guy has had. I see the way he's fighting and the way he's finishing fights. I love it. It's my motivation, and I'm like, 'Cool, I want to do the same thing. I want to do it against you. Let's do it.' And now here we are."
