Seahawks in bad shape with injuries, but not bad enough to bring back Jamal Adams

The Seattle Seahawks recently placed strong safety Quandre Diggs on the injured reserve list, which will keep him out for at least the next four games. With K'Von Wallace already providing backup safety options and Ty Okada promoted from the practice squad for extra depth, some fans speculate that this opens up the possibility of a reunion with former Seahawks strong safety Jamal Adams. However, re-signing Adams may not be a good idea. Although Adams can still be disruptive around the box and has value as a blitz option and run defender, his negatives far outweigh his positives. He is too small to play linebacker and does not have the coverage and ball skills necessary for starting at safety in the modern NFL.
